Rain or Shine! June 11th from 11am to 3pm
BBQ is on! It would seem being water proof may have been a positive design feature for humans … saving our right to go swimming may require us getting a little wet!
We have a bunch of “pop up covers” and if you’ve never seen the lake in the rain… well its beautiful and worth the drive. There shouldn’t be a line for burgers, hot dogs or bbq pulled pork and you will have the opportunity to talk one on one with the folks who have been on the tip of the spear in this dog fight! Lots of good information, last we heard Kathy formally Green will be there and talking to folks. So just cuz it rains don’t let that dampen support for your right to jump into the lake and go swimming!!

We could really use your help making sure this public lake access doesn’t go away! There will be spectacular views, food, neighbors, updates, and a win win attitude! Parking is limited, so please carpool if you can!
A lot has happened since our last BBQ back in February! Since then, the Commissioner’s gave the public road back. BUT, they claimed they don’t know whether there is public lake access and want a judge to make that determination. As a result, M3, the developer filed for judicial review, claiming the public right of way ends before high water mark. We the public, need to prove otherwise! Fred and Jennifer Arn have hired an attorney and will be representing the public by intervening in this court battle. They will be providing an update on next steps and upcoming court dates.
Please help if you can, even if it’s just a quick share on Facebook or sending your friends to this page.
